This building is located in a busy pedestrianised shopping street in Covent Garden. In 2006 we were asked by the owner of the top (third) floor flat to draw up designs to convert what is rather cramped single bedroom dwelling into a spacious duplex apartment. The property in question is in a Conservation Area and our initial task, which was successfully completed, was to secure a Planning Permission. Our design provided a bathroom and single and a double bedroom, with en-suite shower room on the third floor and a combined living/dining/kitchen on the fourth floor, opening onto a generous roof terrace at the rear.
