Constructed on the site of a former public house called “The Halfway House”, this development provides eighteen private flats and seven “affordable” flats together with a bar/restaurant at ground floor, on the prominent street corner. This was a sensitive site where Planning Permission had previously been refused for an office development and DEB were brought in to design a building which provided a more meaningful and appropriate response to the site’s challenging context.
